A Lake Macquarie family have been left devastated after their teenage daughter was killed in a crash near Port Macquarie.
Jade Finn was travelling with half a dozen family members when their 4WD allegedly swerved to miss a van while travelling north on the Pacific Highway at Herons Creek yesterday.
Police say their car rolled several times.
Jade was thrown from the car and sadly died at the scene, while two of her family members are still receiving treatment in the John Hunter Hospital.
Friends have taken to Facebook to pay tribute to the teen, describing her as "gorgeous" and a "beautiful girl". While the Macquarie Scorpions Rugby League Club have also paid tribute to the teen.
While a 20-year-old driver from the UK has been charged with negligent driving causing death and not giving way, and will face court today.
